Starry Starry Nite

Even after a tired day of being a photographer for my cousin's wedding yesterday (Congrats Kak Fina!), i manage to pull off 59pcs cupcakes for todays order. i was too tired yesterday that i forgot to take photos of the other 50pcs cupcakes ordered by aunty rohana for her doter's birthday today which was to be handed at 10am. Since isma's order of 9cs star theme cupcakes was to be taken at 3pm so i did manage to snap a few photos.

Ball, Jersey and Love

I guess it's the football fever and Aween, Wanny's cuz has an idea of her own cupcake design. Her other half was a MU fan and what else can it be? Of course a football theme :) It was my 1st time ever drawing MU logo. It took me quite a while to complete the logo. But at last i did it! Although it didn't really turned out perfect :p

Father's Day in Advance

Father's Day is coming next month and some are in the mood of celebrating it earlier. Well, everyday should be a day for our mother and father rite? so what's wrong of celebrating it at any time u want? :)

I received an order from kak fifi for the celebration. It was a last minute order but i manage to pull it off (i'm a slow poke :p). I make her a 16pcs of blue, green and white based cupcakes.

It's A Girl!

I've always wanted to design a baby theme cupcakes and there comes Gman, ordering a set of 9pcs for his girlfriend's niece baby shower. I've been longing to try making a baby figurine. Hehe. last2 sampe jwak hajat. I choose a pink and white theme as it was meant for a baby girl named Fatin Qamarina. Pretty name ey? :) It didn't took me long to design the cupcakes as i've already had an idea for it.

Wanny send me a msg few weeks ago and asked me to make a 9pcs cupcakes. It was for her dear hubby who'll be arriving Kuching today. She told me that her other half loves chocolate mint and so this is my 1st time making chocolate peppermint buttercream. She also wanted oreo cookies so i tot of making cookies and cream buttercream to match the deco.

Not So Alice

Since there are no order for this week, i tot of experimenting new cupcake flavour which is vanilla. It taste almost like butter cake but slightly different. I planned on decorating it with Alice in Wonderland theme but it didn't show much of alice tho. I have some leftover fondant flowers so i used it to decorate the cupcakes.

I luuuv the combination of pink and white- just like our logo eh? hehe :p

Happy Teacher's Day

Aunty Zaharah's 12 year old doter decided to sell cupcakes on Teacher's Day and so she requested a simple design, meant for both boys and girls. I thought of drawing cartoon design but then her doter wants nothing to do with cartoon. She wants the design to be like the one i make for Otel's birthday.

Done with another set of cupcakes today ordered by Nurul. It was probably meant for mother's day or her mum's birthday. For her cupcake, i used purple, green, yellow and pink for the base. I decorated it using floral design as it suit the cupcake theme.

This is an order made by my best friend from childhood, nisa :) She's going to Miri tomorrow and was thinking of giving something as a gift to her friend's family whom she'll be staying with for the whole week. Since i've mastered how to make roses using flower cone (konon ny tek :p), i tot of designing cheai's cupcakes with roses. I choose pastel colour as it looks more romantic (heheh. xtauk pa faveret kaler kak yan sbnany :p) and added butterfly fondant on it. Kak yan! Hope u like it! The Engagement

I was being asked by my friend, Fai to make a set of engagement theme cupcakes for her friend. Her friend requested for a different size cup for each cuppies. She gave me a sample picture but i told Fai i'll change the design to suit the hantaran. So i make it pink, brown and white. Somehow, i was in a rush and i didn't manage to put ribbons on each of the cupcakes. huhu.

Fondant Madness!

Just done with Kak Zie's cuppies today. She ordered 9 pieces fondant cupcakes from me last week where she wanted the same design as the one i make for Zanna and Adeel. But then, i suggested that i'll design the cupcakes for her. From all the design i make for zanna and adeel, i think kak zie were into the bunny shaped fondant. Nak sis? hehe. Neway, I make a totally different design than the one i make for zanna and adeel. Oh i'm glad she likes it :) thx a lot sis.

Talking about her cupcakes, lotsa things happened during the process of designing it. Seriously, patience and determination are very much needed. it takes hours and days to design and set the fondant to achieve the right consistency. There are times when it didn't turned out well. Some of the fondant were too heavy that it almost dropped out of the cupcakes! wahh! Then, another fondant was about to cracked, on the day of the pick up! yah haha. ng best.

i have to redo the fondant and change it to another design. Glad that i make it on time. Phew~

I took an order of 9 pieces cupcakes yesterday and i have about 4 extra cuppies and some buttercream left. so i thought of selling them to my friends. For the quick sale, i decorate the cupcakes with simple design using chocolate buttercream.

Love Matters

Ah! Here's my very 1st fondant cupcakes ordered by 2 of my coursemate, Zanna and Adeel. They wanted a love theme with mostly love design on it and the cupcakes to be packed in an individual boxes. i suggest they choose a fully fondant toppings (to be safe) for they intended to post the cupcakes to peninsular. i did thought of making 4 pair of similar design for them but then some of the fondant didn't work out well and so i had to make another 4 cupcakes with different design.
